How to heat
Hot food, no kitchen required.
The meal is already cooked. A self-heating pack or a kettle is enough for a hotel room, a hostel, a camp or the hour after school. Follow the print on your pouch — this page is the method, not a batch instruction.

- 01
Keep the food pouch sealed. You are warming a cooked meal, not cooking it again.
- 02
If your pack includes a heater, add only the water the pack asks for — into the heater, never into the food.
- 03
Set it aside while you lay out rice or bread. Open when the pack says it is ready. The pouch will be hot; use a cloth.
- Do not microwave a sealed retort pouch.
- Do not eat a pouch that is badly swollen, leaking, or smells wrong.
- The print on your pack wins. This page explains the idea, not a specific batch.
What to eat it with
The pouch is the dish, not a full plate. Rice, bread or a packet of nasi turns it into dinner. The jars in the pantry — terung asam butter and spread — need no heat. Spoon, lid back on.
