The kitchen
Sarawak food, kept specific, made portable.
Doliya Palace cooks for people who cannot live on generic ready meals: pilgrims in a hotel room, campers, holiday-makers, field and security teams, boarding-school and campus students, parents with a house full of homework, and anyone who already loves the MRE format but wants it to taste like home.
Redefined Cooking
To keep Sarawak flavours recognisable away from home, without sanding the recipes into something that could come from anywhere.

The founder
About Doliya Palace
Zainal began with a central kitchen and the recipes his mother kept. Those recipes stay his. The cooking is done by women the kitchen took on because they needed the work: single mothers, women without a job, and others with a sure hand at the stove.
Sarawak’s Islamic department later recognised that kitchen for the number of women asnaf in Kota Samarahan it had lifted out of poverty. By then the ready meals had a local following, enough that growing the kitchen was no longer a someday plan.
Institutional orders have started, including from NADMA. There is also interest from Tabung Haji and from travel operators arranging Hajj and Umrah.
March 2022
A Kuching kitchen, on the record
Doliya Palace is incorporated as SAM/BNR/122/2022. The work is simple to say and hard to do: put Sarawak family recipes into meals you can carry.
Recognised
Home-based, and registered to supply
UPKJ and Bumiputera status. ePerolehan. Home-based food recognition from Kementerian Kesihatan Malaysia, No. KKM-FSQ-22/12/0006.
On the table
Five meals, not a catalogue of maybes
Ayam pansuh, ayam masak merah, daging kuah satay, asam pedas tenggiri and asam pedas pari. Each one is a family rendering — gravy, not a beige ration.
In the pantry
Two small jars, spoken for differently
Terung asam butter and terung asam spread are being finished as premium minis for airlines, hotels and niche restaurants. They are not on the household pack yet.
Still ahead
Halal, when it is official
