Redefined Cooking

The family pot, packed for wherever you are.

Doliya Palace is a Kuching kitchen making ready meals from family Sarawak recipes. They should taste cooked at home, and heat without one — for pilgrims, campers, field teams, students and parents who still want a real gravy.

The pouch is the dish. Bring rice, bread or a packet of nasi if you want a full plate. Daging kuah satay contains peanuts.

We did not set out to make rations taste like rations. We set out to keep a Sarawak kitchen within reach.

Cooked like home, carried like a ration. Self-heating when the pack includes a heater. A hot-water bath when you have a kettle. No claim that a pouch replaces a Sunday pot — only that it should still taste like one.

Heat

From pouch to plate, without a kitchen.

  1. 01Seal stays shutThe food is already cooked. You are only bringing it back to hot.
  2. 02Heater or kettleWater goes in the heater, or the sealed pouch goes in hot water. Never both mixed up.
  3. 03Eat where you areFrom the pouch on a tray, or tipped into a bowl over rice.

Still in the kitchen

Two premium minis for cabins, hotels and small restaurants.

Terung asam butter and terung asam spread are not on the household table yet. They are being finished as small jars — a Sarawak condiment for a tray, a breakfast side, a bread course.
